India’s first silicon ingot

Adani Photo voltaic, the PV unit of the Adani Group, unveiled new monocrystalline silicon ingots on the Intersolar India 2022 expo in Gandhinagar, Gujarat. That is the primary silicon ingot produced in India.
The corporate plans to arrange 2 GW of ingot and wafer capability by December 2023. It goals to scale it as much as 10 GW by 2025. Ahmedabad-based Chiripal Group is organising a brand new unit beneath its Chiripal Renewable Power subsidiary to fabricate photo voltaic cells, modules and glass.
Grew Power will fee 4 GW of PV modules, 3 GW of PV cells, and 300 tons/day of tempered glass manufacturing capability within the subsequent 4 years.
