    DPC plans foray into solar energy

    DMCI Energy Corp. (DPC) will enterprise into solar energy subsequent yr, a transfer that can increase its vitality portfolio to about 150megawatts (MW).

    On November 4, DPC deployed and operated a 3MW diesel plant in Pio V. Corpuz. However, the ultimate testing and commissioning of the 8MW diesel energy plant in Cataingan continues. The Cataingan plant is focused to be on-line by mid-December. DPC was established in 2006 to energise small and distant islands within the nation that aren’t related to the primary energy grid. It’s presently the biggest off-grid energy supplier within the Philippines.
