Hydrite has completed the installation of the first on-site solar array at the company’s Visalia, California facility. The 126-kW solar PV system, completed by Kuubix Construction Group, will provide approximately 16% of the location’s annual electricity consumption.

Hydrite’s new solar array at its facility in Visalia, California reflects a company-wide focus on improving operational efficiency and reducing resource consumption. This sustainable power source will continue to support the region’s growing production needs for Hydrite’s food and agriculture solutions.

“Our investment in solar power confirms Hydrite’s commitment to sustainability, which is an important part of our overall strategic plan,” said Hydrite president Kevin Honkamp.

Just one of many energy efficiency projects, Hydrite continues to closely monitor energy use throughout its manufacturing and distribution operations to identify improvement initiatives. and set environmental goals.

“Understanding and improving our energy initiatives will help us work toward a sustainable future for our company and the communities in which we operate,” said Hydrite chief operating officer Joe Weishar.
