Could 4, 2023: Indian recycler Lohum mentioned on Could 2 that it has teamed up with insurer ACKO for what the businesses say is a pioneering EV battery guarantee insurance coverage partnership.
Lohum mentioned the transfer will pave the way in which for future partnerships with OEMs that may launch “battery buy merchandise” and enhance car gross sales worth.
The collaboration will even profit EV battery OEMs who have already got merchandise underwritten by ACKO.
Beneath the partnership, ACKO will proceed to offer efficiency guarantee insurance coverage for EV batteries to many OEMs and “provide hassle-free redressal” in case of performance-related points.
