    German battery producer VoltStorage has unveiled a 50 kWh vanadium redox circulation battery designed to optimize self-consumption in business and industrial PV methods

    VoltStorage VDIUM C50 is an AC-coupled battery with a system voltage of 48 V. The producer provides a 20-year guarantee on the electrolyte and guarantees that it’ll degrade under 0.3% per yr.

    It additionally provides a five-year guarantee on the facility electronics. The brand new product is available in a standard container and weighs 2 tons with out electrolyte. When it’s full, it weighs 6.5 tons. Electrolyte pumps and energy electronics devour 40 W in standby mode.
