Puma Energy seeks to develop a sustainable business line through its “Solar Power” initiative. The project includes the installation of solar panels to drive for renewable energy and self-energy, and commercialization of these types of solutions for all types of retail outlets.
The proposal was revealed during a visit to the brand’s headquarters in Argentina, located in Nordelta. Under the motto “Puma Energy Experience”, the company presents the new SUPER 7 convenience store concept, the Puma Pris app together with the latest solar energy ambitions.
“We want to have 100 service stations, industries or businesses with photovoltaic systems in the next year. And being able to offer quality products with the support of Schneider Electric or Intermepro gives us peace of mind think of taking steps”, explained Marcelo Vivian, Commercial Manager of Puma Energy, in an interview with the local news site Surtidores.
According to information cited by the media, the branded service station is already operating with this photovoltaic technology, which allows the supply of 30% of energy consumption. Puma Energy aims to increase installed capacity by installing panels in parking lots.
