DAH Photo voltaic has ramped up TOPCon photo voltaic cell and module capability at its manufacturing facility in Chaohu, China’s Anhui province. The corporate goals to supply 5.5 GW of cells and a pair of.5 GW of modules by the top of 2023.
It began making TOPCon cells within the manufacturing facility earlier this month. It stated it’s going to start manufacturing the module in Could.
DAH Photo voltaic says its resolution to give attention to TOPCon is because of excessive worldwide demand. It says it’s going to use TOPCon cells for its full-screen PV module, with a frameless frontside.
In a separate growth, Chinese language module maker Ronma Photo voltaic stated it plans to construct a TOPCon photo voltaic cell and module manufacturing facility in Jinhua, Zhejiang province in China. It stated it needs to take a position CNY 7.5 billion ($1.09 billion) within the new facility.
The producer says the manufacturing facility has 10 GW of cell capability and 18 GW of module capability. It didn’t present any additional particulars.
