Luxembourg’s Ministry of Economic system and Ministry of Power chosen 85 tasks with a complete of 43.3 MW within the nation’s inaugural photo voltaic self-consumption tender. Chosen tasks will obtain €16.1 million ($17.2 million) in rebates from a €30 million funds.
The tender covers three challenge classes: installations from 30 kW to 200 kW, with a ceiling subsidy of €810/kW; arrays with put in energy of 200 kW to 500 kW, with a subsidy ceiling of €610/kW; and PV methods with a capability between 500 kW and 5 MW, with a subsidy ceiling of €530/kW.
The third class will get the most important share, with 32.7 MW of assigned capability and € 9.7 million in funding. The second class acquired 8.24 MW and €3.2 million, whereas the primary class was awarded 5.37 MW and €3.0 million.
The chosen builders now have 18 months to finish their tasks. Economic system Minister Franz Fayot mentioned, “We’re managing investments in renewable vitality and inspiring extra industrial and repair firms to spend money on vitality independence and renewables.”
The ministry plans to launch the second tender of this kind in July. By the tip of 2022, Luxembourg can have roughly 319 MW of put in PV capability, with almost 42 MW of recent photo voltaic additions final yr, in line with the Worldwide Renewable Power Company.
