    London launches tender to install solar on Olympic stadium – pv magazine International

    The town of London has launched a young course of to put in a GBP 3 million ($3.81 million) photo voltaic system on the London Olympic Stadium, with an unspecified PV membrane.

    London Stadium 185, the corporate that runs the Olympic stadium on the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London, has launched a young to construct a rooftop PV system on prime of the stadium.

    The corporate says the mission requires an funding of GBP 3 million, excluding worth added tax (VAT).

    “The contracting authority will procure and award the contract for a rooftop photo voltaic answer by means of a two-stage aggressive course of with negotiation,” the tender doc says. “The contract will embrace as much as a 25-year photo voltaic answer upkeep settlement.”

    The stadium’s proprietor, London Legacy Improvement Corp. (LLDC), introduced the mission in February. It says it has an unspecified “photo voltaic membrane.”
