    Echion, GUS agree niobium-based anode supply deal

    Could 12, 2023: Echion Applied sciences has agreed to a niobium-based anode materials provide cope with Taiwan-based GUS Know-how, the businesses introduced on Could 11.

    A memorandum of understanding gives GUS with secured availability of Echion’s XNO niobium-based anode materials and entry to Echion’s electrochemistry help for cell design.

    GUS is a specialist in lithium ion batteries, pouch cells and power storage programs.

    The memorandum was signed through the inauguration of the GUS gigafactory, which the companions say is the primary facility in-built Taiwan.

    The settlement will even enable Echion and GUS to offer early entry to battery cells and modules powered by XNO for quite a lot of OEMs and finish customers.

    Echion claims that XNO permits lithium ion batteries to be safely charged in lower than 10 minutes, preserve excessive power density even at low temperatures, and supply excessive energy over a lifetime. in cycle greater than 10,000 cycles.

    The corporate’s chief industrial officer Ben Ting mentioned the companions share a standard floor in eager to rapidly deploy high-performance batteries around the globe.
