French startup Holosolis, a derivative of EIT InnoEnergy, has revealed plans to construct a module manufacturing facility in Hambach, close to Sarreguemines, in northwestern France.
The placement is similar as that of a now-abandoned manufacturing unit undertaking by Norwegian photo voltaic module producer REC. It initially deliberate to construct a 4 GW heterojunction panel manufacturing unit there.
The brand new manufacturing unit may have a capability of 5 GW and can begin business operations in 2027. Holosolis, which is at the moment primarily based in Grenoble, stated additionally it is contemplating different places in Germany, Poland, Portugal and Spain for the undertaking.
