Indian President Droupadi Murmu laid the muse stone for a 1 GW photo voltaic venture to be developed in Bikaner, Rajasthan. Hydropower producer SJVN is growing a ground-mount photo voltaic venture.
SJVN received the rights to construct the venture beneath the Central Public Sector Endeavor (CPSU) scheme, in an public sale performed by the Indian Renewable Vitality Improvement Company (IREDA). The hydropower producer awarded the engineering, procurement and development (EPC) contract for the photo voltaic venture to Tata Energy Photo voltaic.
The whole improvement price of the venture is estimated at INR 5,492 crore ($720 million). The set up is anticipated to generate 2454.55 million items of electrical energy within the first 12 months of operations and roughly 56,838.32 million items inside 25 years. The venture is scheduled to be commissioned in Could 2024.
