    India’s JSW Energy targets 40 GWh/5 GW of storage capacity by 2030 – pv magazine International

    JSW Power, a non-public sector energy producer in India, has introduced plans to turn into a 20 GW energy producing firm with 40 GWh / 5 GW storage capability by 2030. It is usually working to attain -ot a photo voltaic module manufacturing capability of 1 GW per yr and a inexperienced hydrogen manufacturing capability of three,800 tons per yr by 2025.

    As of March 31, 2023, JSW Power has put in a cumulative energy era capability of 6.6 GW in thermal (3.2 GW), wind (1.4 GW), hydro (1.4 GW), and photo voltaic (657 MW). Beneath-construction initiatives stand at 3.2 GW, which the corporate expects to fee by the top of 2024.

    JSW Power plans to extend its renewable power capability and transfer into power services. Along with photo voltaic and wind era initiatives, it invests in companies corresponding to power storage, inexperienced hydrogen, and photo voltaic PV module manufacturing.

    The corporate says 1 GW of wafer-to-module PV manufacturing capability will probably be operational by April 2025. This capability was gained underneath the federal government’s Efficiency Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme. In power storage, it has a locked-in capability of three.4 GWh (2.4 GWh pumped storage and 1 GWh battery storage).
