    India’s NTPC launches tender for 2 GW of pumped storage – pv magazine International

    India’s NTPC has launched a young for two GW of pumped storage, with a minimal undertaking measurement of 200 MW and a minimal storage cycle of six hours.     NTPC Renewable Power has began accepting bids to develop as much as 2 GW of pumped hydro vitality storage initiatives anyplace in India.

    Pumped storage initiatives have to be commissioned inside 5 years from when they’re awarded. The fee interval contains 1.5 to 2 years for detailed undertaking report preparation, land acquisition, research, detailed engineering, and three to three.5 years of building time.

    “Early completion of milestones can be acceptable and already established pumped storage initiatives may also be acceptable,” NTPC Renewable Power stated within the tender doc.

    Every developer should bid a minimal of 200 MW (at one location), going up in increments of 10 MW as much as 2 GW (at a number of areas with a minimal of 200 MW at every location). The minimal storage cycle is six hours in all circumstances.
