    KStar unveils battery inverter solution for C&I applications – pv magazine International

    KStar’s new all-in-one vitality storage system for industrial and industrial (C&I) purposes encompasses a 5.12 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery system with a 50 kW inverter. It contains two clusters of batteries with 10 modules every, for a most capability of 102.4 kWh.

    KStar has launched a brand new all-in-one vitality storage system with an inverter and battery module. It’s designed for industrial and industrial (C&I) purposes.

    The China-based storage and inverter producer stated the 5.12 kWh, 512 V batteries comprise lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery cells from CATL. It contains two clusters of batteries linked in parallel with 10 modules every in what KStar calls a “1 + 1 redundancy” design.

    “If one battery cluster fails, the opposite 52.1 kWh battery cluster can nonetheless function usually,” KStar stated in an announcement. “They function a backup to one another, the 1 + 1 redundancy design ensures the soundness of the system operation.”

    The system capability will be expanded to 1 MW/2 MWh, in accordance with KStar. The batteries match into an exterior cupboard that measures 1,100 mm x 1,1000 mm x 2,380 mm and weighs 1.5 tons. It has IP54 safety and operates in temperatures from -30 C to 50 C. The utmost working altitude is 4,000 meters, with derating beginning at 3,000 meters.

    The system is reported to “allow energy technology to revive a secure energy grid, optimize the facility output curve, cut back photo voltaic curtailment, enhance the proportion of renewable vitality in complete energy technology, and optimizing the vitality construction,” the producer stated.

    The inverter has a 50 kW energy output. It has three most energy level monitoring (MPPTs) with an enter voltage vary of 350 V to 800 V. It has an effectivity score of 97.5% and the utmost PV enter voltage is 1,000 V.

    The transformerless inverter measures 650 mm x 715 mm x 325 mm and weighs 75 kg. It has an IP65 score and has clever air cooling. It operates at temperatures from -25 C to 60 C.

    The brand new resolution is pre-installed on the manufacturing facility for straightforward on-site set up. It has a double hearth suppression design.
