June 9, 2023: Morrow Batteries in the present day opened its analysis and innovation hub that can lead the additional improvement of the corporate’s battery know-how.

Norway’s Morrow Analysis Heart is on the College of Agder’s Campus in Grimstad and can develop small battery cells to confirm and decide the optimum composition and construction of various battery parts.

The ability covers 2,000m2 with a further 1,700m2 in workplace area.

Morrow stated the middle is backed by an unnamed main European automaker by a joint improvement settlement.

The on-site analysis staff is accountable for superior materials testing and battery cell testing, together with experimentation with new processes and supplies.

The ability’s lab features a dry room and tools for manufacturing and testing energetic cathode supplies and for conducting superior analyzes of supplies, electrodes and battery cells.

Future is scheduled to start industrial-scale battery cells at its gigafactory in Arendal, on Norway’s southern coast, in 2024.
