GS Power has developed a brand new lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) battery storage system for residential rooftop purposes. It confirmed off the brand new product on the Genera commerce present final week in Madrid, Spain.
The Chinese language power storage specialist stated that one to 5 battery modules could be linked in sequence, with capacities starting from 3.74 kWh to 18.7 kWh. The smallest battery within the Titan-HV battery line has a nominal voltage of 96 V, measures 606 mm x 651 mm x 217 mm, and weighs 49.5 kg. The biggest has a nominal voltage of 480 V, measures 1,910 mm x 651 mm x 217 mm, and weighs 198.7 kg.
“The GS Power Titan-HV sequence is a high-voltage, expandable battery power storage system. It’s simple to put in and could be plugged in and used instantly,” stated GS Power.
The brand new battery could be positioned within the floor and could be put in indoors or open air. It discharges at ambient temperatures between -10 C and 50 C, and prices at temperatures between 0 C and 40 C. It has a 10-year guarantee and is reported to have a lifecycle of greater than 6,000 cycles.
The brand new product is IP65-rated and permitted in response to UN 38.3, IEC 62619, and IEC 62040 certifications.
