March 23, 2023: Morrow Batteries stated on March 20 that it has agreed to a long-term battery provide settlement with BESS developer Eldrift.
The Norwegian corporations stated a non-binding offtake settlement commits Eldrift to buy 1.5GWh of Morrow’s batteries beginning in 2024, when Morrow begins industrial manufacturing at its gigafactory on the south coast of Norway.
The settlement will help the event of present LFP battery chemistry and BESS applied sciences that can strengthen Norway’s aim of turning into a hub for the BESS business in Europe, the businesses stated.
